Good morning. Happy 4th of July! (tomorrow)!! Everyone is still asleep, so I thought I would update.

The family has the day off today because tomorrow is the 4th. We haven't been sleeping well, so we are all pretty tired. I was awake, so I got up (actually 2 hours ago) and decided to get some things done early. It is quiet in the house right now with everyone else fast asleep (wish I was, too).

David is feeling good. PT on Wednesday went really good. David said he was only going to bring one crutch in because he is walking better; but he forgot it! So now he is walking without any aids whatsoever! All the time! We even walked to our friends' house last night after dinner; and David walked all the way. It is a little less than a mile away. His knee wants to buckle on him, still, but he is good at 'catching' himself when it does that. So he is doing great with his walking. He said it feels weird to be almost even! His right leg has been considerably shorter for over a year, and he said it feels weird (but great) to have them almost the same length. I can't even imagine. He is getting closer to being 'normal.' He played with his friends for several hours last night. Bryon and I went with our friends to Starbucks and had a great time while the boys played video games and chatted. It was good for David. It is hard for him because all the boys his age are out playing basketball, soccer, baseball........things that David cannot do. But he still had fun with his friends last night.

That is about all that is happening at the moment. Thank you for checking in on the Koury Klan. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support; keep it up! Please be praying for us on Thursday, the 9th. Thank you. God bless you all. We love you. {{HUGS}}
