Good evening. It was another hot, summer day today. I am ready for fall, my favorite season.

David did ok in PT today. He is such a trooper, he just does whatever he is asked to do. He was a little bit sore today; yesterday in the pool his knee bent too far for his liking. He doesn't remember what happened, but he knows it hurt. So his knee was a little bit tender today. But he did very well. The older (than David) gentleman that is there when David is there just watches David and shakes his head. He can't believe what David does. He says me and Linda torture David! He is just amazed at David. But then, so are we. Overall, he did very well in PT today.

We went in the pool again this evening. It felt so nice and refreshing. And it was actually cold when we got out! Well, the wind was cold on our wet bodies. David wants me and him to go in after lunch tomorrow; we will see

We got David's High School transcript today. We had to get it because we had to pull him out of the school he was in~~~we can no longer afford to send him to a private school. So we have to fax the transcript to his new school. We didn't really know exactly how he was doing~~~they never sent us report cards. Well, we are very proud of him. He started this school just a couple months before he was diagnosed with cancer. He only got 2 C's in the entire 4 semesters he was there. All the rest were A's and B's!! Considering he is a year ahead of his age; he was doing an accelerated curriculum; and he has had 2 years from hell; we are extremely pleased! His GPA for the 2 years is 3.13. I just wanted to brag on him. We are just so proud of him. So he starts his Junior year this Fall.

Thank you for checking in on him. He is getting really excited to go camping. To tell the truth, so am I. I am looking forward to being with him and having some extra bonding time. It will be fun. Have a good night. Sleep tight. Thank you for your prayers, love, and support. Keep the prayers coming, we need them. God bless you all. We love you.

The tumor is usually treated with wide tumor resection and adjunctant chemotherapy. Despite treatment the prognosis is poor and a fatal outcome is the rule.
