Good evening. I hope you are all doing well this evening.

We made it home safely. We tried to sleep in this morning; and we did, a little bit. It was a good drive......but there was a LOT of traffic! It ws unbelievable how much traffic there was. I don't think we have ever seen in that bad. So we are so glad to be home.

Then we got to meet with some friends we haven't seen for several years; WAY too many years!! Pastor Larry and Chris, it was SO great to see you and spend a few hours with you. Pastor Larry, we can't wait to hear you preach on Sunday! We have missed it! Seeing them tonight made me realize how much we have missed them. It was wonderful to see them.

David is so glad to have those staples out of his leg. He doesn't have to worry about them catching on anything and getting pulled, or worry about them just getting tugged on. He is happy to have them gone!! So are we, let me tell you. Now he can take a 'regular' shower! He just needs to get all the scabs off the staple holes. And the skin is so dry! So I am putting lotion on it to soften it up. It is much better to have the skin more pliable. So we will do what we can to help that scar.
